Laura Poynter is the owner and operator of Next Door HR. She is a dedicated human resource professional who loves all things HR and is an active member of SHRM. After spending more than 15 years in the industry and supporting a wide range of clients, she has found that oftentimes businesses cannot support the cost of a full time HR employee but need the services to remain compliant. She is inspired by new challenges, and loves the satisfaction that she gets by helping to guide others through their stickiest HR problems. Her no nonsense but ethical approach has often earned her the title of the Crazy HR Lady. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management.
